Roth IRA eligibility

Do you mean you want to convert your annuity to a Roth or just make a contribution to a Roth IRA with the annuity income?

Anyway, you can’t convert the annuity to a Roth account if it’s a non-qualified account. If it’s in a traditional IRA, you can convert it to a Roth.
If you just want to contribute some annuity income to your Roth IRA account, you need to check if you are eligible or not.

To be eligible for contributions, you need to have earned income. However, it does not include income derived from investments or retirement income. You can find whether you are eligible or not here.
